Zac Radford

Zac Radford is a professional golfer and nationally recognized golf content creator whose story has strong roots in Central Texas and the Texas Hill Country. Zac spent his early years growing up in San Marcos, Texas, between Austin and San Antonio. Sports were a major part of his childhood, with baseball originally serving as his primary competitive focus. He also spent many summers playing golf at Fair Oaks Ranch Country Club, giving him an early connection to the courses and golf community of the Texas Hill Country. After his family relocated to the Nashville area, Zac eventually shifted his athletic focus from baseball to golf. Unlike many professional golfers who begin competing at a very young age, Zac came to the game relatively late. He attended the University of Tennessee and, after graduating in 2009, began taking golf increasingly seriously. Within a relatively short period, he transformed his game and began competing professionally, pursuing opportunities on developmental tours and working toward the highest levels of professional golf. Along the way, Zac also became one of golf's early breakout social media personalities. His ability to combine high-level golf with entertaining and visually compelling content helped him build an audience well beyond traditional tournament golf. He has become particularly well known for his signature low-flying “stinger” shots, golf challenges, course adventures and videos showcasing the game in spectacular locations. Today, Zac calls the Nashville area home and continues to create golf content for a large audience across YouTube, Instagram and other social platforms. But long before Nashville and the national following, part of Zac Radford's story was being written right here in Central Texas, growing up in San Marcos and spending summers playing golf in the Texas Hill Country.
