Jon Wolfe
Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and raised in the nearby small town of Miami, Jon Wolfe earned a finance degree from Colorado State and landed a job on BP's trading floor in Chicago. When he was transferred to the Houston office, he started playing in dive bars and beer joints, and by 2004 he had recorded his first album and been swept into the thriving Texas country scene alongside artists like Hayes Carll and Randy Rogers. In 2010 he released his debut album, It All Happened in a Honky Tonk, and hits like "That Girl in Texas" followed. Albums like Natural Man and Any Night in Texas made him a modern traditionalist, rooted in classic country but committed to evolving.
