Historic Downtown Main Street — Buda's heart is a walkable strip with local shops, restaurants, and the Buda Outdoor Stage where live music and community events take place throughout the year. The preserved Victorian-era storefronts give downtown genuine character.

Stagecoach Park — A 45-acre city park along Onion Creek with hiking trails, picnic facilities, and natural creek access. The park provides a green escape within the city.

Hill Country access — FM-967 and FM-150 west of Buda connect to the Hill Country terrain and Wimberley within about 30 minutes.

Buda Brew Works is a community gathering place for craft beer with a rotating tap list and a backyard setting that draws locals and visitors alike. The Main Street restaurant scene features local independents alongside regional favorites. The BBQ scene along the I-35 corridor near Buda reflects the Central Texas tradition. For expanded options, Kyle is 8 miles south and Austin is 20 miles north.

Music & Events

Getting There

Buda sits on I-35 about 20 miles south of downtown Austin. Take I-35 south from Austin. FM-2001 and FM-967 connect Buda to the Hill Country and Wimberley to the west.
